It is our pleasure to announce the 2016 Otological Microsurgery Course with Emphasis on Minimally Invasive Techniques (OMMIT). It is jointly organized by the Department of ENT, Head and Neck Surgery, Inselspital and the Institute of Anatomy, University of Bern. Over the years, OMMIT has established itself as a high-class educational event for otologic surgeons. This course will strongly emphasize anatomical whole-head dissection and features:

  • 10 hours of wet lab and endoscopic ear surgery
  • Lectures by renowned Swiss and international faculty
  • Live surgery from the OR & specimen dissection
  • High-quality specimen (Thiel embalmed)
  • Small groups of 2 participants per table
  • Best available instruments and microscopes
  • Traditional Swiss style social event and dinner
